The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising was proud to once again present the spectacular L.A. Fashion Gala, Debut 1999.

The event showcased the work of graduates of FIDM's third-year Advanced Study Programs in Fashion Design and Theatre Costume Design.

Each Fashion Design student presented a collection based on the aesthetic principals and design skills learned at FIDM. Theatre Costume Design students concluded their three-year intense education with the design and construction of a costume based on the theme, "Great Moments from Grand Operas."

As in past years, the formal black-tie affair is attended by hundreds of Fashion and Entertainment decision makers. FIDM is honored to present this elite corp of designers.
