With daily activities ranging from designing country clubs and custom restaurant fixtures to meeting with clients and architects, Ray Gallego's career is challenging, stimulating and exciting.
Ray is President of his own company, Architectural Design Concepts (A.D.C.), a full-service interior design and engineering firm in Southern California. A.D.C. specializes in the hospitality industry, working primarily with restaurants, resorts and country clubs. What makes Ray's company unique is its ability to take a project from concept to installation completely in-house. In addition to planning and design, A.D.C. can also manufacture custom fixtures when necessary. A.D.C.'s impressive client list includes Courtyard Marriott, Tony Romas, McDonalds, Burger King, Malibu Country Club and The Newport Beach Country Club.

Ray began his career in 1981 when he graduated from FIDM with a degree in Interior Design. Upon graduation, FIDM's Placement Departmenthelped Ray land an entry-level position as a design consultant in a large paint and decorating store. Four months later his talent and ambition earned him a job with a firm specializing in the hospitality industry.

During his eight years there, Ray worked his way up from entry-level to Vice President responsible for design, installation and engineering. Ray opened A.D.C. in 1991. His company and client list has grown steadily and Ray currently employs 13 people. Plans for the future include continued success in the hospitality industry as well as retail planning and design.
