Thinking of Transferring into FIDM?

At FIDM, we welcome Transfer Students with open arms! We understand that students transfer for a variety of reasons, and we have a great deal of experience assisting with the individual transfer process. FIDM has knowledgeable Advisors dedicated to the task of making your transfer experience a pleasant one, and you will join the many students who have successfully transferred into the college.

Students with Prior College College Credit:

FIDM recognizes the value of each student's prior education and experience. Students with prior college credit are invited to have their transcripts evaluated for individual General Education classes and classes within a student's major that may be accepted for transfer by FIDM to shorten a 2-year Associate of Arts Degree program.

Students with Prior College Degrees:

FIDM's Professional Designation Associate of Arts Degree programs are transfer programs for individuals with a U.S. Associate's or Bachelor's degree or a certified international degree who wish to add a new field of specialization. These 9-15 month programs consist of concentrated and intensive study in one of FIDM's specialized majors. Students from other regionally accredited degree programs have the opportunity to complement their previous education or pursue a new field of study by enrolling in a Professional Designation Program.

FIDM's Advanced Study Associate of Arts Degree programs are open to FIDM's own graduates. These focused one-year programs allow students to further develop their skills and educational experience in their unique area of study.
