Career Connections 2003

An Annual Networking Event for FIDM Students and Alumni

Once you have the necessary skills, making the right connection is the fastest way to nab an exciting job in your field. Over 150 FIDM alumni like Fashion Designer Nick Verreos of Nikolaki, Bridal Couture Designer Patty Nevil, and Visual Manager Mark Rosales of Gucci Beverly Hills answered questions from FIDM students and
talked about their experiences within the industry at this year’s Career Connections event.

Just
outside FIDM,
Hope Park provided the backdrop
for the well-attended event.

FIDM Students meet one-on-one with FIDM alumni for career advice.

FIDM students networked with movers and shakers from all areas of the Fashion, Beauty, and Entertainment industries, including Product Development, Merchandise Marketing, and Visual Display alumni from high-profile companies such as Quiksilver’s Roxy, Mattel’s Barbie, and Puma.

Graduate Nikola Frank, Marketing Manager for John Paul Mitchell Systems, said of the event, "FIDM helps me to maintain a direct connection with others in my industry and within fashion. I love that I'm constantly used as a resource to empower the students!"
