Welcome to the Career Development & Placement Center

From the first day of class, students begin to integrate into a network of industry leaders, FIDM faculty, and over 30,000 FIDM alumni! We encourage students to find part-time jobs while in school to get hands-on experience in their field. Working in the industry that a student is studying is a very important part of a FIDM education. Our mantra is that students get more out of their education when they apply the lessons working alongside professionals in their field. Therefore, we assist our students in finding part-time positions while they are enrolled. Throughout the year, we offer on-campus recruitment and job fairs. Some part-time jobs found through the Career Center even lead to a student's first career position after graduation. This sort of practical experience, combined with an industry-directed curriculum and an unparalleled professional network, creates a high demand for FIDM graduates!
