Okay, I'm going to an event next week with the theme "I Wanna Be A Rockstar" and I already have my outfit, but I haven't the slightest idea what shoes to wear. I'm wearing a sleeveless Charlie's Angels-type shirt with a tie-neck. It's burgundy, black, and gold (a tiny little bit of gold, you can hardly tell). I'm also wearing fitted black pants with about 4-inch slits on the sides with rhinestones around the edges, and it looks really cute. I'm confident about every part of my body except my feet. I don't know what kind of shoes to even look for. Please hurry because this weekend could be the last chance I get to go shopping. Oh yeah, please keep in my mind that I'm 5'10" and only 16, it's hard enough to put together outfits so don't let me look like a fool!

Don't worry, I would never let you go out lookin' like a fool. I'm here to help! Your outfit sounds so perfect for the Rockstar Homecoming theme! That look is so hot right now, you will totally steal the show. I have a few styles of shoes in mind that will finish off your look. Since it's kind of hard to describe in words what I'm talking about, I found pictures to show you. Do you know of Chinese Laundry shoes? They are really cute. Once you're there, you'll see images of the shoes they offer online. Each style has a name. On the first page, look at the "Joyfull" shoes. They are simple but really cute slides right out of the '70's. I would go with those in black or gold. Now look at the "Spark" shoes. Be sure to click on the image and you will get a bigger picture of the shoes in black with rhinestones. These are totally perfect for your outfit! Look for similar shoes that are strappy with rhinestones, maybe with a lower heel since you are already tall. Ok now go to the next page of shoes. Click on the "Globe" shoes. These are more slides but in copper or silver with sequins, which will also look great with your outfit. Your best bet is to actually wear the pants out shopping when you try shoes on, so you can see how the shoes look against those rhinestoned slits on the pants. It's also really important that you are comfortable in the shoes since you will be on your feet most of the night. You should stick to shoes in black, silver, or gold to bring out that little bit of gold in your shirt. Do you have Ross stores in your town? That's where I go to find really hot designer shoes for way-reduced prices.
