You've probably heard it 100 times before, but here we go again: be yourself! Pick an outfit that reflects your innate style. Don't wear something that is totally unlike you and makes you feel "out-of-your-skin." Boys seem to respond best to clothes that make you feel good; clothes that make you feel your best and put you in a great mood; clothes that give you confidence because you love the color, style, fit, and feel; clothes that don't keep you occupied with worrying about some part of your body showing too much. Girls that wear revealing stuff might capture lots of male attention, but it's very short-term and for all the wrong reasons. The majority of boys just don't like girls who are overly obsessed with their looks. When it comes down to it, they are much more interested in girls who have a healthy self-image and are happy and comfortable with themselves. For your casual date, go for a cute, simple tee shirt with a cute logo worn with a fitted skirt or pants (not super-tight!) in your favorite colors. Another good choice is a casual shirtdress or A-line dress. Most boys like the femininity of skirts and dresses. Make sure your shoes are comfy=D1stay away from tall heels or overly strappy shoes that might trip you up or give you blisters. Wear a tiny bit of mascara, some lip gloss and, of course, a smile.
