The Annette Green Perfume Museum

The Annette Green Perfume Museum is the only museum of its kind in the United States.  The Museum is dedicated to enhancing our understanding of the art, culture and science of olfactory.  Originally opened in New York City in 1999, the collections were moved to Los Angeles in 2005 when they were donated to the FIDM Museum.

Annette Green has been a leader and visionary in the fragrance industry since the early 1960s when she first became associated with the Fragrance Foundation, of which she is now President Emeritus.  In 1972, she originated the “FiFi” awards to increase industry and public appreciation of scent.  Ms. Green is one of America’s leading fragrance authorities and authors.

The Annette Green Collection contains over 2,000 bottles, perfume presentations and documentary ephemera dating from the late 1800s to the present. The collection has its own dedicated exhibition space located on the second floor of the Los Angeles Campus and is open to the public free of charge for education, research and enjoyment. Approximately 150 objects are exhibited and rotated every six months.
