“The Creative Genius Behind Gucci and Yves St. Laurent

The term "genius" is often used to describe creative people. In reality, it can be overused to the point that it means very little. This is definitely not the case with Tom Ford. The designer of both Gucci and Yves St. Laurent is not only extremely talented, he literally revolutionized fashion and turned it on its ear. This book is a touching and fitting retrospective to a man who has meant so much to the world of design. It is said that someone at the 1995 Video Music Awards asked Madonna what she was wearing and she replied, “Gucci, Gucci, Gucci!” This put Ford firmly on the map.

Ford has dressed some of the world's leading celebrities and fashion icons such as:
  • Sarah Jessica Parker
  • Jennifer Lopez
  • Eve
  • Julianne Moore
  • Cameron Diaz
Beautifully photographed, this collection is loaded with photographs from famous Mario Testino ad campaigns as well as photos of Ford himself, including that now famous Absolut Vodka ad. The book comes complete with a forward by Vogue editor, Anna Winter and an interview with Vanity Fair editor, Graydon Carter. This volume is a true collector’s edition and well worth it as a gift for the fashionista in your life.
