E! Online is the cyber home of E! Entertainment television. E! is the world’s largest producer and distributor of entertainment news and lifestyle-related programming. The website was launched in 1996 as a companion to the cable television network. This website boasts over 16,000 archived searchable entertainment news stories. Looking for the latest celebrity news? Or maybe the complete list of Grammy and Golden Globe nominees? All this information and more is just a mouse click away.

The categories featured on this website include:

  • News
  • Gossip
  • TV
  • Movies
  • Music
  • Celebs
  • Fun

Some of my favorite “reads” on this website are “Tab Fab”, where they run down all the hottest stories from the supermarket tabloids for you, and the “Six Pack where they list the top 6 requested celebrities updated hourly. There’s also a spot for celebrity sightings for when you happen upon Britney Spears or Jessica Simpson loading up on the latest goodies at Kitson. Of course the latest movie and music reviews can also be found if you are searching for a good choice for this weekend’s trip to the local multiplex. If you are looking up the listings for tonight’s episode of the Gastineau Girls, the E! True HollywoodStory or Dr. 90210 then look no further. This website covers everything having to do with the world of entertainment.

The Fashion Magazine For The Rest Of Us

Metro.Pop (Metro dot pop) magazine bills itself as the fashion magazine for the rest of us. Based out of Long Beach, a suburb of Los Angeles, Metro.Pop reaches out to the nation's underbelly of all things hip. This magazine successfully reaches its goal of revealing the cutting edge scattered throughout the Southern California region as well as other fashionable spots in distant states. The magazine does an admirable job of spotting the latest fashion trends, even though they aren’t located in a traditional fashion capital.

A bi-monthly publication, its target audience is the twenty-somethings and early thirty-year-olds seeking an alternative to the mundane.  A life not too complicated but with a cool vibe.  With such a wide selection of magazines aimed at pleasing Generations X and Y, Metro.Pop is a winning selection for bridging both groups.

Each issue of this publication carries with it a specific theme.  Articles and interviews are centered on this theme and the unique photo shoots covering both popular and emerging fashion designers are included as well. Models used in advertisements and fashion spreads are more reflective of their readers than iconic supermodels too far out of a reach.  This magazine infuses each issue with a fresh approach to expressing their creative endeavors in a manner much appreciated and sought after.
